Full Story : THE LITTLE GIRL WAS CRYING WHILE CLEANING THE MANSION FLOOR, BUT THE PHONE HIDDEN IN HER DRESS MADE EVERYONE GO SILENT

PART 1: THE PHONE BEHIND THE BOW

The mansion was silent enough to hear the sound of a single tear hitting the marble floor.

Lucía kept her head down.

Her small hands moved a white cloth back and forth across the polished cream marble, even though the floor was already spotless.

She was crying.

Quietly.

Carefully.

As if she had learned that making noise only made things worse.

Across the room, Victoria sat on the cream-colored sofa with her legs crossed, holding a glass of red wine.

She watched the girl without saying a word.

Then the front doors opened.

Dante walked inside.

He stopped the moment he saw Lucía on the floor.

His expression changed.

“What happened?”

Nobody answered.

Lucía immediately wiped her eyes with the back of her hand and continued cleaning.

Dante walked toward her.

“Look at me.”

She didn't.

“Lucía.”

The little girl finally looked up.

Her enormous brown eyes were filled with tears.

Dante crouched in front of her.

“Why are you crying?”

Lucía opened her mouth.

Then closed it.

She looked toward Victoria.

That tiny movement was enough.

Dante slowly turned his head.

Victoria's fingers tightened around the wine glass.

“Don't involve yourself,” she said.

Dante stood.

“I asked her a question.”

“And she doesn't need to answer you.”

The tension between them filled the room.

Lucía looked down again.

Dante noticed something strange.

Her hands were shaking.

“Did someone hurt you?”

Lucía immediately shook her head.

“No.”

“Did someone threaten you?”

“No.”

“Then why are you crying?”

She whispered:

“I don't know.”

Dante didn't believe her.

He looked down at the girl's dress.

The large navy satin bow around her waist was slightly uneven.

Something seemed to be underneath it.

Dante reached carefully toward the bow.

Lucía suddenly stepped backward.

“Don't!”

The word escaped before she could stop herself.

Everyone froze.

Dante looked at her.

“What's behind the bow?”

Lucía's face turned pale.

“I don't know.”

Dante slowly reached behind the satin fabric.

His fingers touched metal.

He pulled.

A silver smartphone slid from behind the bow.

The room went completely silent.

Victoria's wine glass nearly slipped from her hand.

Dante stared at the phone.

Then at Lucía.

Then at Victoria.

“Where did this come from?”

Victoria stood so quickly that the wine inside her glass spilled onto the carpet.

“Give me that.”

Dante didn't move.

“Why?”

“Because it belongs to me.”

Lucía's eyes widened.

Dante looked at the girl.

“Did she give you this?”

Lucía shook her head.

“No.”

“Did you put it there?”

“No.”

Victoria stepped closer.

“Dante, give it to me.”

But Dante was already looking at the screen.

It was dark.

Locked.

No name.

No notification.

Nothing.

He pressed the power button.

The screen remained black for several seconds.

Then a single notification appeared.

Dante's face changed.

Victoria stopped breathing.

The message contained only six words:

DON'T LET HER FIND THE BLUE ROOM.

Dante looked up.

“Who is she?”

Victoria didn't answer.

His eyes moved toward Lucía.

The little girl was trembling.

Then another notification appeared.

SHE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR BROTHER.

Dante slowly looked at Victoria.

“My brother?”

Victoria's face had gone completely white.

And Lucía whispered something that nobody expected.

“Please don't open it.”

Dante turned toward her.

“Why?”

Lucía stared at the phone.

“Because they will know.”

“Who?”

She swallowed.

“Everyone.”

PART 2: THE ROOM NOBODY WAS SUPPOSED TO ENTER

Dante carried the phone into the library.

Victoria followed.

Lucía remained near the doorway.

She didn't want to enter.

That frightened Dante more than anything.

He placed the phone on the desk.

“Tell me what happened.”

Victoria crossed her arms.

“Nothing happened.”

“You just lied.”

“I said nothing happened.”

“The phone had a message about my brother.”

Victoria looked away.

Dante's voice became colder.

“My brother disappeared seventeen years ago.”

“I know.”

“You told me he ran away.”

“He did.”

“You told me he wanted nothing to do with this family.”

“He didn't.”

Dante froze.

Victoria realized her mistake.

“What did you just say?”

She closed her eyes.

“I said he didn't.”

Dante stepped closer.

“You've been lying to me.”

“I was protecting you.”

“From what?”

Victoria didn't answer.

Dante pointed toward the phone.

“Who sent that message?”

“I don't know.”

“Then why are you afraid of it?”

Victoria stared at the black screen.

“Because that phone should not exist.”

Lucía suddenly appeared at the library entrance.

“Please.”

Both adults turned.

She was crying again.

“Please don't fight.”

Dante crouched.

“Lucía, how did the phone get inside your dress?”

She shook her head.

“I don't know.”

“Did someone give it to you?”

“No.”

“Did you find it?”

“No.”

“Then how did it get there?”

Lucía looked toward the hallway.

“Someone told me to wear the dress.”

“Who?”

She remained silent.

Dante waited.

Finally she whispered:

“The woman.”

Victoria's expression changed.

“What woman?”

Lucía pointed toward the corridor.

“The woman who comes when everyone is sleeping.”

Dante stood.

Victoria grabbed his arm.

“Don't.”

He looked at her.

“You know her.”

Victoria's hand slowly fell away.

“I know the name.”

“What name?”

“Evelyn.”

Dante frowned.

“Who is Evelyn?”

Victoria looked toward Lucía.

“She used to work here.”

“Used to?”

“She disappeared.”

“When?”

“Seventeen years ago.”

Dante's face hardened.

“The same year my brother disappeared.”

Victoria said nothing.

Dante grabbed the phone.

“We're going to find out what's inside this thing.”

He tried several passwords.

Nothing.

Then Lucía spoke.

“Try his birthday.”

Dante turned.

“Whose?”

“My father's.”

Victoria's eyes widened.

Dante stared at the little girl.

“You said you didn't know anything.”

Lucía looked terrified.

“I don't know what his birthday is.”

“Then how do you know?”

She pointed at the phone.

“It told me.”

Dante looked at the screen.

A new notification appeared.

PASSWORD: 0417

He entered it.

The phone unlocked.

There were only three files.

One photograph.

One audio recording.

One video.

Dante opened the photograph.

His hands went still.

It showed a young man standing outside the mansion.

Dante recognized him immediately.

His brother.

But there was someone standing beside him.

A woman.

Victoria covered her mouth.

“That's Evelyn.”

Dante looked at the date.

Seventeen years ago.

Then he noticed something else.

A child stood between them.

A little girl.

Her face was partially hidden.

Dante zoomed in.

His eyes widened.

The girl looked exactly like Lucía.

He turned.

Lucía was gone.

“Where is she?”

Victoria looked toward the doorway.

The child had disappeared.

Dante ran into the hallway.

“Lucía!”

No answer.

He checked the living room.

Empty.

Kitchen.

Empty.

Then he heard a soft sound from upstairs.

A door closing.

Dante rushed toward the staircase.

Victoria followed.

“Dante, stop!”

He ignored her.

At the end of the hallway stood an old blue door.

Dante had never noticed it before.

Lucía was standing in front of it.

Her hand was resting on the doorknob.

She looked back.

“I wasn't supposed to show you this.”

Dante slowly approached.

“Show me what?”

Lucía's eyes filled with tears.

“The room where they kept his things.”

“Whose things?”

She whispered:

“Your brother's.”

PART 3: WHAT WAS HIDDEN IN THE BLUE ROOM

Dante opened the door.

Dust floated through the air.

The room was small.

Almost forgotten.

There were old boxes stacked against the walls.

A wooden desk.

A broken lamp.

Several photographs.

And a child's drawing taped to the wall.

Dante walked toward it.

He recognized the handwriting.

His brother's.

He had forgotten how it looked.

Victoria stood frozen at the doorway.

Dante picked up a photograph.

It showed his brother sitting beside Evelyn.

Behind them was the mansion.

But something was written on the back.

She knows.

Dante turned.

“Who does this mean?”

Victoria didn't answer.

“Mom.”

She looked at him.

“Who knows?”

Victoria's eyes filled with tears.

“I thought it was over.”

“What was over?”

“Your brother discovered something.”

“What?”

“He discovered that someone in this family had been stealing money.”

Dante stared at her.

“And?”

“He confronted the person.”

“Who?”

Victoria's silence answered before her words did.

Dante's face hardened.

“You.”

“No.”

“Then who?”

Victoria whispered:

“Your father.”

Dante stopped.

His father had died twelve years earlier.

The man had always been remembered as successful, respected and generous.

“You're saying Dad stole money?”

“Not exactly.”

“What does that mean?”

Victoria walked into the room.

“He discovered money was being moved through accounts belonging to people who didn't exist.”

Dante stared at her.

“Why?”

“I don't know.”

“Where did the money go?”

Victoria shook her head.

“Your brother found out.”

“And then?”

“He disappeared.”

Dante looked at the photograph.

“You told me he ran away.”

“I was afraid.”

“Of my father?”

“No.”

Victoria's voice broke.

“Of the people your father was afraid of.”

Dante looked toward Lucía.

The girl stood silently near the old desk.

“Why does she know about this?”

Victoria looked at her.

“I don't know.”

Lucía suddenly pointed at the desk.

“There's something underneath.”

Dante moved the desk.

A small metal box was hidden behind it.

He opened it.

Inside was an old cassette tape.

A key.

And a handwritten note.

Dante unfolded it.

Only one sentence was written:

If I don't come back, protect the girl.

Dante stared at the words.

“Who wrote this?”

Victoria whispered:

“Your brother.”

The room became silent.

Lucía walked closer.

“Can I see?”

Dante handed her the note.

She touched the handwriting with one small finger.

“He wrote this for me.”

Dante looked at her.

“How would you know?”

Lucía didn't answer.

Then the old phone in Dante's hand began vibrating.

A new message appeared.

YOU HAVE TEN MINUTES.

Another message followed.

LEAVE THE MANSION WITH THE GIRL.

Then:

DO NOT TRUST VICTORIA.

Dante looked at Victoria.

She saw the screen.

Her expression collapsed.

“I didn't send those messages.”

“I know.”

“Dante…”

He looked toward the window.

A black SUV was parked across the street.

Someone was sitting inside.

Watching the mansion.

Then the vehicle's headlights turned on.

Lucía grabbed Dante's hand.

“That's them.”

“Who?”

“The people she was afraid of.”

Victoria whispered:

“Evelyn.”

Dante looked at her.

“You said she disappeared.”

“I thought she did.”

The phone vibrated again.

This time, there was no text.

There was a photo.

Dante opened it.

His blood ran cold.

It showed the mansion from outside.

Taken only seconds earlier.

And in the window behind them stood a man.

Dante turned around.

Nobody was there.

He looked back at the screen.

The photo contained one final message:

HE IS ALREADY INSIDE.

PART 4: THE MAN BEHIND THE DOOR

Dante immediately locked the blue room.

He pulled Lucía behind him.

Victoria stood beside the desk, shaking.

“Who is inside this house?”

“I don't know.”

“You said you didn't trust anyone.”

“I don't.”

“Then why did you bring her here?”

Victoria looked at Lucía.

“I didn't.”

Dante frowned.

“What?”

“I didn't bring Lucía here.”

The little girl's eyes widened.

Dante looked at her.

“Then who did?”

Lucía whispered:

“Evelyn.”

Victoria shook her head.

“That's impossible.”

Lucía pointed toward the hallway.

“She told me to come here.”

“When?”

“Before you arrived.”

Dante's stomach tightened.

“So someone knew I was coming.”

“Yes.”

He looked at the phone.

The battery suddenly dropped from 63 percent to 1 percent.

Then the screen went black.

A loud knock came from the other side of the blue room door.

Everyone froze.

Knock.

Knock.

Knock.

Three slow knocks.

Victoria whispered:

“Don't open it.”

Dante stepped toward the door.

Another knock.

Then a woman's voice.

“Victoria.”

Victoria's face went white.

Dante looked at her.

“You know that voice.”

She nodded.

“It can't be.”

The woman spoke again.

“You promised you would tell him.”

Victoria's eyes filled with tears.

Dante opened the door.

Nobody stood in the hallway.

Only an old envelope lay on the floor.

His name was written across it.

DANTE.

He picked it up.

Inside was a photograph.

His brother.

Older.

Alive.

Standing beside Evelyn.

And between them was Lucía.

Dante stared at the photograph.

The date on the bottom was only six months earlier.

His hands began trembling.

“That's impossible.”

Victoria looked at the picture.

She covered her mouth.

Dante turned toward Lucía.

“Who is he?”

Lucía stared at the photograph.

Then she whispered:

“He told me never to forget his face.”

“Why?”

“Because one day he would come back.”

Dante looked at Victoria.

“You knew he was alive.”

Victoria began crying.

“I suspected.”

“You lied to me.”

“I was trying to protect you.”

“From my own brother?”

Victoria couldn't answer.

Then footsteps sounded downstairs.

Slow.

Measured.

Someone was walking through the mansion.

Dante moved Lucía behind him.

Victoria stepped toward the stairs.

“Don't,” Dante said.

But she continued.

At the bottom of the staircase stood a man.

Tall.

Dark-haired.

Older than the man in the photograph.

But unmistakably familiar.

Dante stopped breathing.

The man looked up.

Their eyes met.

For seventeen years, Dante had believed his brother was dead, missing or gone forever.

Now he was standing in the mansion.

Alive.

The man slowly removed his coat.

“Hello, Dante.”

Victoria covered her face.

Lucía began crying.

Dante couldn't move.

“You're alive.”

The man nodded.

“I've been alive the entire time.”

“Why did you disappear?”

His expression became darker.

“Because if I stayed, you would have disappeared too.”

Dante stepped down one stair.

“Who were you hiding from?”

His brother looked toward Victoria.

Then toward Lucía.

Finally, he looked directly at Dante.

“Not who.”

A pause.

“Something.”

Dante frowned.

“What does that mean?”

His brother reached into his coat and pulled out a second phone.

He placed it on the table.

“You found the first phone.”

Dante stared at him.

“Yes.”

“You weren't supposed to.”

“Why?”

“Because the person who put it in the girl's dress wanted you to find it.”

Dante's face changed.

“Who?”

His brother looked toward the dark hallway.

Then whispered:

“Someone in this house.”

Suddenly every light in the mansion went out.

Lucía screamed.

A door slammed upstairs.

Dante grabbed her hand.

Victoria whispered his name.

Then a voice came through the darkness.

A voice nobody expected to hear.

“Dante…”

He turned.

The voice came from behind him.

His brother's voice.

But his brother was standing several feet away.

Dante slowly looked toward the hallway.

Another man stepped into the faint emergency light.

Same height.

Same dark hair.

Same eyes.

For one terrifying second, Dante thought he was looking at a reflection.

Then the stranger smiled.

And said:

“You really thought there was only one secret in this family?”

The emergency lights flickered.

Lucía tightened her grip on Dante's hand.

Victoria began crying.

And somewhere upstairs, the hidden phone came back to life.

One final message appeared on its screen:

NOW YOU KNOW WHY THE GIRL WAS CRYING.

May you like

TO BE CONTINUED...

Who is the second man? Why was Lucía given the phone? What really happened to Dante's brother seventeen years ago? And why does someone inside the mansion know everything about the girl?
