Full Story : THE CHAUFFEUR HAD A FAKE MUSTACHE WHEN THE WEALTHY MAN LEFT THE PALACE, BUT WHAT HE FOUND IN THE CAR CHANGED EVERYTHING

PART 1: THE WOMAN AT THE CAR

Nobody at the palace entrance questioned the woman with the mustache.

At least, not openly.

She stood beside a glossy black luxury SUV beneath the enormous stone arches, dressed in a perfectly tailored chauffeur-style uniform.

Black cap.

Black jacket.

White shirt.

Black tie.

Gold name badge.

Polished shoes.

Everything about her appearance suggested professionalism.

Everything except the mustache.

It was thick, dark, and unmistakably artificial.

Her name was Nadia.

At least, that was what the small gold badge on her jacket said.

She stood perfectly still with one hand holding open the rear passenger door.

Two security men watched from several yards away.

Then the man arrived.

He wore a spotless white thobe beneath a cream-colored bisht decorated with gold trim.

A red-and-white shemagh rested neatly on his head, secured by a black agal.

Dark mirrored sunglasses covered his eyes.

His beard was carefully groomed.

A large metallic ring caught the sunlight as he approached the vehicle.

Nadia lowered her gaze.

“Your car is ready, sir.”

The man stopped.

He looked at the SUV.

Then at Nadia.

For one strange second, neither moved.

Nadia's heart began beating faster.

The man seemed to study her face.

She kept her expression perfectly neutral.

Then he simply gathered the edge of his bisht and stepped into the vehicle.

Nadia held the door.

The cream-colored leather interior became visible beneath the sunlight.

Dark polished wood.

Chrome details.

Soft leather.

A cabin designed for privacy.

The man lowered himself into the rear seat.

Nadia carefully closed the door.

Click.

The heavy door sealed shut.

She stepped backward.

Her hands came together neatly in front of her.

The SUV started moving.

Nadia watched it leave.

She didn't follow.

She didn't call after it.

She simply stood beneath the palace arch while the black vehicle disappeared down the marble driveway.

Only after it was gone did she touch the fake mustache.

Her fingers trembled.

She looked toward the security guards.

Neither had noticed.

Or perhaps they had.

She couldn't tell.

Inside the vehicle, the man sat silently.

He didn't remove his sunglasses.

He didn't make a phone call.

He didn't speak.

Outside the window, the palace disappeared behind him.

Buildings began passing by.

Traffic moved around the SUV.

The city continued its ordinary afternoon.

But the man wasn't thinking about the city.

He was thinking about the woman at the door.

Something about her had felt familiar.

Not her face.

Not her voice.

Something else.

A detail he couldn't name.

He reached down and adjusted the sleeve of his bisht.

His fingers stopped.

There was something beneath the fabric.

A tiny folded piece of paper.

He stared at it.

He hadn't placed it there.

Slowly, he unfolded it.

There was only one sentence.

DO NOT TRUST THE WOMAN WHO OPENS YOUR DOOR.

The man stared at the words.

Then he looked toward the rear window.

The palace was already far behind him.

Nadia was no longer visible.

But for the first time that afternoon, his expression changed.

He folded the note again.

And put it inside his pocket.

PART 2: THE SECOND MESSAGE

Nadia remained at the palace entrance for another ten minutes.

She kept her posture professional.

She greeted another member of the staff.

She nodded toward a security guard.

She even smiled.

But inside, she was terrified.

The vehicle had left.

The man had taken the note.

And she still didn't know whether he had read it.

A voice came from behind her.

“You can stop pretending now.”

Nadia froze.

She turned slowly.

One of the security men stood several feet away.

His sunglasses concealed his eyes.

His expression revealed nothing.

Nadia forced a smile.

“Pretending what?”

He glanced at her mustache.

Then back at her eyes.

“Nothing.”

He walked away.

Nadia waited until he disappeared.

Then she immediately entered the small staff corridor beside the palace.

She closed the door.

Locked it.

And removed the mustache.

Her breathing became rapid.

She stared at herself in a small mirror.

Without the fake facial hair, she looked completely different.

Younger.

Softer.

More obviously feminine.

She placed the mustache on the table.

Then looked at her phone.

One new message.

HE READ IT.

Nadia's blood ran cold.

She typed:

Did he react?

The response came almost instantly.

He didn't show anything.

Nadia stared at the screen.

Then another message appeared.

That is what makes him dangerous.

She put the phone down.

For several seconds, she simply stood there.

Then she heard footsteps outside.

She quickly put the mustache back on.

The door opened.

A female staff member entered.

“Are you finished?”

Nadia nodded.

“Yes.”

The woman looked at her.

Then at the mustache.

“You always wear that?”

Nadia smiled.

“Part of the uniform.”

The woman laughed awkwardly.

“Interesting.”

Then she left.

Nadia waited.

One minute.

Two.

Then she removed the mustache again.

She opened the small drawer beneath the table.

Inside was a second phone.

She turned it on.

There was only one saved contact.

UNKNOWN.

She called.

The phone rang once.

Twice.

Then someone answered.

Nadia didn't speak.

Neither did the person on the other end.

Finally, a male voice said:

“Did he notice you?”

“No.”

“Are you sure?”

“No.”

A pause.

“Then why did he stop before getting into the vehicle?”

Nadia closed her eyes.

“You saw that?”

“We saw everything.”

She swallowed.

“He looked at me.”

“Did he recognize you?”

“I don't know.”

The voice became colder.

“You cannot afford for him to recognize you.”

Nadia looked at the fake mustache.

“I know.”

“Then leave.”

She immediately shook her head.

“I can't.”

“Why?”

Nadia hesitated.

“Because I need to know where he's going.”

The man on the phone said nothing.

Then:

“You were told not to get involved.”

“I know.”

“You were told to remain outside.”

“I know.”

“And yet you are asking questions.”

Nadia stared at the mirror.

“I only want one answer.”

“What answer?”

She whispered:

“Why does he have it?”

The line went silent.

Then the man said:

“You don't know what you're asking.”

The call ended.

Nadia stood frozen.

Then her second phone vibrated.

A new message appeared.

LOOK UNDER THE REAR SEAT.

Nadia stared at the words.

The vehicle was already gone.

She had no way to reach it.

But someone else did.

And suddenly she realized something.

The message wasn't meant to help her.

It was meant to make her panic.

PART 3: THE MAN IN THE REAR SEAT

The black SUV moved through the city.

The man remained alone in the rear cabin.

Cream leather surrounded him.

The windows reflected buildings passing in long streaks of beige and gray.

He looked at the note again.

DO NOT TRUST THE WOMAN WHO OPENS YOUR DOOR.

He didn't believe it.

Not completely.

He had spent too many years around people who used fear as a weapon.

A warning without a name was almost useless.

He unfolded the paper again.

There was something written on the back.

A second sentence.

SHE ISN'T THE PERSON YOU SHOULD FEAR.

His expression changed.

He looked toward the front of the vehicle.

The partition was closed.

He couldn't see the driver.

He pressed a button.

Nothing happened.

He pressed it again.

Still nothing.

The vehicle continued forward.

He sat back.

For the first time, he noticed a faint vibration beneath the rear seat.

He frowned.

He leaned forward.

His fingers moved beneath the edge of the leather.

Something was there.

A small object.

He pulled it free.

It was a black rectangular device.

No logo.

No screen.

No obvious controls.

He stared at it.

Then the device vibrated.

A tiny green light appeared.

The man immediately placed it on the seat.

He didn't touch it again.

His phone rang.

He answered.

“Hello?”

A woman's voice spoke.

“Are you alone?”

He looked around the cabin.

“Yes.”

“Don't turn around.”

His expression hardened.

“Who is this?”

“You don't have much time.”

“Tell me your name.”

“I can't.”

“What do you want?”

Silence.

Then the woman said:

“Remember the woman at the palace.”

His eyes narrowed.

“The attendant?”

“Yes.”

“What about her?”

“She was trying to warn you.”

The call ended.

The man stared at his phone.

Then at the device.

Then toward the window.

The SUV continued moving.

But now every detail seemed different.

The woman hadn't been staring at him because she was nervous.

She had been trying to tell him something without speaking.

The note wasn't necessarily a warning against her.

It might have been a warning about what she knew.

He looked again at the small black device.

A second vibration.

This time, a tiny red light appeared.

Then a message appeared on his phone.

REMOVE IT BEFORE THE NEXT INTERSECTION.

He immediately reached for the device.

Then stopped.

The vehicle slowed.

Outside the window, a large intersection approached.

He looked toward the front.

Still nothing.

No driver visible.

He reached down.

The device vibrated again.

This time, a voice came from it.

Nadia's voice.

“Please don't trust anyone in the vehicle.”

The man froze.

He knew that voice.

The attendant.

The woman with the fake mustache.

He listened.

Her voice continued.

“If you can hear this, then they already know I warned you.”

The recording ended.

The man sat perfectly still.

Then he noticed something else.

The tiny black device had a second recording.

He pressed it.

Nadia spoke again.

This time, she sounded frightened.

“I don't know how long I have.”

A pause.

“If something happens to me, look at the palace entrance camera.”

The recording ended.

The man immediately picked up his phone.

He called someone.

“Get me the security footage from the palace entrance.”

A voice answered:

“Which time?”

“The last twenty minutes.”

There was a pause.

“Why?”

He looked at the black device.

“Because I want to know who was watching the woman.”

He ended the call.

The SUV continued moving.

Then something appeared in the side mirror.

A second black vehicle.

Following them.

The man noticed it.

He didn't move.

The second vehicle stayed behind.

One intersection.

Then another.

Always the same distance.

He lowered his sunglasses slightly.

For the first time, his eyes became visible.

They were no longer calm.

PART 4: THE WOMAN WHO NEVER ENTERED THE CAR

Back at the palace, Nadia stood alone beneath the stone arch.

The afternoon sun had begun to soften.

The security guards had changed positions.

Guests came and went.

Everything looked normal.

But Nadia knew it wasn't.

Her phone vibrated.

She looked down.

One message.

HE FOUND IT.

She stared at the screen.

Then another.

NOW YOU HAVE TO LEAVE.

Nadia looked toward the road.

Far away, she could see traffic moving through the city.

She wondered where the SUV was.

She wondered whether he had listened to the recording.

Most of all, she wondered whether he had understood what she had tried to tell him.

Then she heard footsteps.

She turned.

The same security man stood behind her.

He looked at the fake mustache.

Then at her.

“You should go.”

Nadia's heart stopped.

“Why?”

He didn't answer.

“Who are you?”

Still nothing.

She stepped backward.

“Did you know about the device?”

The man looked toward the road.

That was enough.

Nadia understood.

He knew.

Maybe he had always known.

She turned to run.

But stopped.

Something on the marble floor had caught her attention.

A small gold-colored ring.

She recognized it immediately.

It wasn't hers.

It belonged to the man who had entered the SUV.

She picked it up.

Then looked toward the road.

The black SUV was gone.

But another vehicle was approaching.

Slowly.

A black sedan.

It stopped directly outside the palace.

The rear door opened.

Nobody stepped out.

Nadia stared.

Then her phone rang.

Unknown number.

She answered.

No one spoke.

Finally, a familiar male voice said:

“I know who you are.”

Nadia froze.

It was him.

The man from the SUV.

She couldn't breathe.

“You recognized me?”

“I recognized your voice.”

She closed her eyes.

“Where are you?”

“Still moving.”

“Are you safe?”

A pause.

“No.”

Nadia looked toward the black sedan.

“Then don't come back here.”

“I wasn't planning to.”

She swallowed.

“Listen carefully.”

“I am listening.”

“The people around you are not all who they appear to be.”

He remained silent.

“And the device?”

“You found it.”

“Yes.”

“Then you know why I couldn't enter the vehicle.”

He looked at something inside the SUV.

“I know.”

Nadia looked at the palace.

“Did you see the camera?”

“Yes.”

Her voice trembled.

“What did you see?”

“I saw you.”

She closed her eyes.

“Only me?”

“No.”

Nadia's eyes opened.

“Who else?”

The man didn't answer.

“Tell me.”

“I saw someone standing behind you.”

Her blood ran cold.

“Who?”

“A person wearing the same uniform.”

Nadia looked around.

There was nobody there.

Then she noticed the security staff.

One of them was missing.

Her breathing stopped.

The man continued:

“They weren't watching me.”

Nadia whispered:

“Then who were they watching?”

A long silence.

Then he said:

“You.”

The call ended.

Nadia slowly lowered the phone.

The palace suddenly felt enormous.

The arches.

The marble.

The guards.

The empty driveway.

Everything looked the same.

But nothing felt safe anymore.

She looked at the fake mustache in her hand.

For the first time, she understood that the disguise had never been the strangest part of the story.

The strangest part was that someone had known exactly who she was before she ever put it on.

She turned toward the palace entrance.

A security camera pointed directly at her.

Its red indicator light was blinking.

Once.

Twice.

Then the camera moved.

It wasn't recording the driveway.

It was following Nadia.

She stood perfectly still.

Her phone vibrated one final time.

One message appeared:

RUN. THEY KNOW YOU KNOW.

Nadia looked toward the road.

The black sedan was still waiting.

Its rear door remained open.

She had two choices.

Walk back into the palace.

Or step into another unknown vehicle.

Neither felt safe.

Then, from inside the sedan, a voice called her name.

“Nadia.”

She froze.

The voice was familiar.

Someone she had not expected to hear.

Someone who should not have known she was there.

Nadia slowly turned toward the open door.

And the story ended before she could see who was sitting inside.
